From the park at Hostrup Hovedgård, the path slopes across the meadow and follows a field road across a dyke and down to the beach.
Wearing wellies is an excellence idea, as the route invites to rather damp areas with water holes at several locations.
Hostrup Hovedgaard
The three-length manor is low in the terrain. Hostrup Hovedgaard´s history can be dated back to the 15th century, when it was owned by Karen Nielsdatter Krabbe.
ATTENTION:
At Hostrup Hovedgaard the parking area and lot at the main courtyard are privately owned.
Access is only permitted when agreed with the owner.
However, you are allowed to park at Sønder Lem Vej. From here, a 700 m long marked path with a view over Sønder Lem Vig to the nature playground exists. There is also space for a few cars at the playground on Hostrupvej.
