Ålbæk Beach – Family-friendly nature and activities

Ålbæk Beach is located in West Salling, north of the Kås Headland, and has held the Blue Flag since 1995. The beach is wide and child-friendly with shallow waters and a sandy bottom, making it ideal for swimming and play. The seabed consists of sand and some stones with scattered seaweed, but the water is generally clean and clear.

Facilities include a jetty, picnic tables, swimming pontoon, waste bins, lifeguard station, toilets, and outdoor showers. Dogs must be kept on a leash from April 1st to September 30th. Nearby, Limfjords Camping and Water Park offers accommodation and access to facilities for guests.

The surrounding area offers scenic hiking routes and nature experiences, and summer activities are held with a nature guide.
