Bjørnshøje

Looking out over the Limfjord you will find Bjørnshøje.

The site is home to a collection of distinctive burial mounds from the Early Bronze Age. Since then, the mounds have been reused, so there are burials from later periods of antiquity as well.
Several excavations have been made at the site, and many antiquities have been found, which have been submitted to the National Museum in Copenhagen.

With a view of Mors and the Sallingsund bridge, you can enjoy your brought food or drink at one of the table bench sets, while the ships slowly glides by.
There are parking spaces in the area and close by you will find Hotel Pinenhus.

The cozy port town of Glyngøre is just a 5-minute drive away.
Here you can enjoy a lunch served with a view of the Limfjord in restaurant Limfjordens Hus.
