Hike: Kilen Rundt

Around Kilen (14 km):

The trip through some of the most beautiful and varying nature in Denmark, partly follows paths and roads, but it takes you across fields with grass and cattle, along steep slopes, on the edge of reed swamps, through uncountable areas with springs, and moist, cool wood paths as well. The varying nature is in other words a cornucopia of different plant communities where there are infinite possibilities for studying landscapes, plants, and animals. It is a good idea to set aside 4-5 hours for the trip around Kilen. The trip is marked with red stakes. You can begin the trip different places, but we recommend the parking area north of the dam.
