Hike: Venø Rundt

Around Venø (15 km):

Venø is one of the 100 inhabited islands in Denmark. On the hike “Around Venø”, you will experience a beautiful and alternating nature with high, wind-swept cliffs in the west, tidal meadows with large bird populations in the north, and a protected coast with fine bathing beaches in the east. Everywhere on Venø, you will find a wide view over Limfjorden to Salling, Mors, and Thy. Visit the smallest church in Denmark in the middle of the island. The hike is fit for a whole day with lots of time for rests in the beautiful nature. You can shorten the route several places by crossing the island. Venøbussen drives from the station in Struer to Venø Harbour. Alternatively, you can walk along the coast from Struer to the ferry. The passage takes only 2 minutes.
