Hostrup Shelter – Close to beach and nature
Hostrup Shelter is located on a large grassy field with good shelter from the wind, just 20 meters from a lovely bathing beach with a jetty. The site includes one shelter, a fire pit, and two sets of tables and benches. Accessible only for cyclists, hikers, riders, and non-motorized boats.
Hostrup Shelter – Nature and Sea Combined
Hostrup Shelter is beautifully located on a large grassy field with good shelter from the wind, just 20 meters from a lovely beach with a bathing jetty. The beach has small stones and is ideal for swimming or relaxing by the water.
This shelter site is part of the Danish Tent Site Scheme and is intended only for cyclists, hikers, horseback riders, and those arriving by non-motorized boats such as canoes or dinghies. Motorized vehicles are not allowed.

- Public toilets nearby
- Shopping: 3 km to Lem
- Access via Teglgårdvej from Lem town
- Canoe and dinghy access from the water
Directions: From Lem town, drive approx. 2 km along Hostrupvej. Continue on Teglgårdvej towards Hostrup Strand. After the public toilets on the left-hand side, you’ll find the large grassy field with the shelter.
