HP’s Fishing Lake is located in the middle of Salling, as a tranquil oasis in a nature-rich environment.
HPs Fishing Lake is a 10,000 m² put & take fishing lake located in the heart of Salling, surrounded by forest, fields, and peaceful nature. The lake was established in a former gravel pit and has developed into a scenic oasis with rich biodiversity and enjoyable experiences for both anglers and families. During the high season, trout are stocked daily, providing excellent fishing opportunities for beginners and experienced anglers alike. The clear water and tranquil surroundings make the area ideal for a relaxing day in nature.
The experience can easily be extended to one or more days with overnight stays in our two unique lakeside shelters offering panoramic views over the water. Fishing is not required to rent them, and the local grocery store is only 800 meters away, offering freshly baked bread, sandwiches, and snacks.
Facilities
By the lake, there is a service building with a payment room, an accessible toilet, and a cleaning station with hot and cold water. Convenient parking is available close to the lake, along with a walking path all the way around, featuring tables, benches, and wind shelters. A long wooden boardwalk with several platforms provides easy access to fishing, including for wheelchair users. The area also offers luxury shelters and a newly renovated pavilion with a serving kitchen, which can be rented for events and celebrations.
Opening hours
HPs Fishing Lake is open daily from March 1 to November 31, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Night fishing can be arranged by appointment.
