Nymølle Strand
A coastal meadow rich in cultural history, with facilities for outdoor activities, swimming, and fishing – by the Limfjord.
Nymølle Beach – cultural heritage and outdoor life by the Limfjord
The flat coastal meadow at Nymølle has held cultural and historical significance for western Salling throughout time. People have settled here since the Ertebølle culture in the Stone Age, drawn by the area's geography, geology, and natural resources.
Today, the former brickworks site at Nymølle Beach serves as a hub for swimming, recreational fishing, and outdoor activities. Facilities include a bathing jetty, lifebuoy, toilets, tables/benches, waste bins, shelters, and a slipway for dinghies and motorboats up to approx. 17 feet. The slipway is managed by the Association for Nymølle Teglværkshavn, and usage requires a seasonal fee of DKK 200. Payment information is available on-site, and the receipt must be visibly placed in the car's windshield when using the slipway.
