"Folkets Hus" - Struer

”Folkets Hus” (= People’s House) is a vibrant and modern cultural house situated in the heart of Struer at the beautiful town square Tegltorvet.

Folkets Hus is a venue and cultural center in Struer. The building was inaugurated in 2005.

Each year, approximately 70–80 events take place at Folkets Hus. In addition, the venue has its regular daily users as well as a variety of initiatives such as meetings, conferences, and workshops organized by businesses in and around Struer. Folkets Hus enjoys strong support from numerous sponsors, whose contributions help ensure high-quality events.

Folkets Hus is always available for hosting meetings, conferences, and lectures. The rooms are equipped with modern AV technology, flipcharts, whiteboards, projectors, screens, and wireless internet. The main hall also features a professional microphone and sound system.

The venue offers rooms in various sizes: the main hall can accommodate up to 250 seated guests, while smaller rooms can host up to 40 seated guests.

Great effort has been made to ensure the flexibility of the venue for a wide range of purposes. The main hall is designed to seat 200 guests but can be expanded to 250 seats by opening up to the foyer. For standing concerts, the venue can be opened up to accommodate up to 600 guests.

For dining events, the maximum capacity is 140 guests.

In addition to the hall, stage, artist dressing rooms, and kitchen, the building also includes meeting rooms on both the ground floor and the first floor. Folkets Hus is well-suited for concerts, theater performances, exhibitions, lectures, conferences, meetings, and receptions.
