Sundby Harbour

SundbyHarbour has been completely renovated in 2013. The Harbour at Sundby on the western part of the island was constructed at the old ferry berth, which was superseded by the making of Vildsundbroen (a bridge to the mainland) in 1936. Today the harbour is a popular area with a marina and plenty of active boaters, kayakers, divers and other guests who enjoy the nice atmosphere.

The old ferry inn on the harbour is a popular dining place and with a newly established playground in its immediate proximity there are also activities for the kids while the adults sit and enjoy their food and drinks. By the harbour is one of the islands beautiful Blue Flag beaches and the water surrounding the harbour is known as a good place to dive, because it is so clean and clear.
