The trip offers wonderful Glyngøre and the scenic island of Mors, spiced with plenty of fantastic taste experiences along the way.

Wine tasting along the Limfjord awaits, and in Glyngøre you'll find an exclusive and fresh oyster tasting at Danish Oyster Bar – a true highlight for anyone who loves the fjord's delicacies.

The route totals approximately 30 kilometres, spread across daily stages of 8–11 kilometres – plenty of opportunity to enjoy the peace, the nature and the wine.

Accommodation is at a hotel near Sallingsund and at the cosy Hotel Steenbergs in Nykøbing Mors, both with breakfast, bed linen and towels included.

Luggage is carried by you along the route, so it's recommended to pack light.

Wine tasting along the route

Supplier

The wines are supplied in collaboration with Vinskabt, based in Lyby near the Limfjord.

All wines are grown and produced according to organic or biodynamic principles – from wine growers who are conscious of their climate responsibility and take pride in cultivating as sustainably as possible.

The wines are grown without the use of chemical sprays, synthetic pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilisers, and the wine cellar works on a strict minimum-intervention principle with regard to additives.

Along the route

Six wine tastings await along the hiking holiday – tastings where the wine and the location come together as one.

Each tasting comes with knowledge about the wine and why it should be enjoyed in that particular way.

Danish Oyster Bar in Glyngøre

In Glyngøre, a truly special experience awaits at Danish Oyster Bar – an elegant and atmospheric oyster bar where the Limfjord's oysters take centre stage.

An exclusive tasting of the fresh Limfjord oysters is offered in surroundings that beautifully reflect the origin of the produce. With the Limfjord right outside, saltwater, seaweed and the beautiful view, the tasting becomes a sensory experience where nature and gastronomy merge.

It's the kind of experience where you can slow down, savour the moment, and truly taste the Limfjord.

Before the hiking holiday begins, a detailed map is provided, guiding you from Glyngøre and up along the coast of Mors.

Price

The price is DKK 3,195 per person when booking for two people sharing a double room.

A single room supplement of DKK 1,000 applies when booking a single room.

Wine on the trip

The wines are supplied in collaboration with Vinskabt, who have extensive knowledge of natural wine as well as organic/biodynamic wine.

Food along the way

Breakfast is included and served at the hotel near Sallingsund and at Hotel Steenbergs, respectively. In addition, there is an exclusive oyster tasting.

Lunch and dinner are chosen freely along the way – a food guide provides inspiration for meals on the route.

Accommodation

Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are included and ready at the accommodation.
