During the autumn holidays, Spøttrup Castle welcomes the whole family to old crafts, fragrant herbs, and a brand-new treasure hunt on the old castle grounds.

Here you can, among other things:

Card and spin wool – feel the soft wool between your fingers and experience how it transforms into yarn.
Sew your own scent amulet – fill it with fragrant, and perhaps a little magical, herbs, and take it home with you.
Make a braiding wheel – learn the old technique and take the braiding wheel home to keep going.

Can you find the Bishop's Gold?

As something entirely new, guests can also explore the castle with the treasure hunt Bispens Guld (The Bishop's Gold).

Follow the clues, solve the riddles, and find out whether the missing gold can be traced. But look closely around you – in an old castle, secrets hide in the most unexpected places.

Spøttrup Castle offers a cozy autumn day for the whole family – with crafts, history, and mysteries in the castle's ancient rooms.

The activities take place at the Traktørsted (inn), and children must be accompanied by an adult.
