Hald- Skive’s hidden gems

Walks, stories and art in the open landscape
– in the heart of Nordfjends

Hald – the corner of the Limfjord shaped by landscape and history

Hald is located in the heart of Nordfjends, set in a beautiful, gently rolling landscape where nature and history go hand in hand. Here, the pace slows down and experiences unfold in open terrain, where hills, forests and paths invite movement and reflection. The newly planted community forest and the dog forest offer space for both quiet walks and active breaks in green surroundings.

Hiking boots truly come into their own on the Borgmester Trail, which leads you through the landscape around the town. Nearby lies Ørslev Monastery, where marked routes guide you through the protected woodland of Kvindsnapskoven – a place rich in stories, atmosphere and traces of the past.

History is also felt at the memorial stone for Olga Sponneck, standing as a quiet testimony to lives and destinies connected to the area. At the same time, contemporary expressions appear in the form of outdoor art and the distinctive transformer tower with artistic decoration, adding a surprising and modern touch to the landscape.

Hald is a place where you can explore nature, art and stories alike – and let the landscape set the pace.
