Visit the charming trading town of Nykøbing Mors and enjoy an unforgettable cultural and dining experience in a historical and authentic setting. The trip takes you on a theme-based historical city walk, where you become wiser about the city's exciting history while being guided around the city with a trained historian from Museum Mors.

During the walk through the city an appetite will most likely be gathered, which will make the delicious meal at Nykøbing's oldest restaurant, Restaurant Limfjorden, which is located right down to the harbor taste just a little bit better.

There you will get a short explanation about the restaurant's history, all the while you will start smelling the delicious food from the lit fire pits in the atmospheric courtyard.

The dinner consists of beer-steamed Limfjord mussels or beer-braised beef - all cooked in the right, raw cast iron pots and pans from Nykøbing's most famous company, namely the historic and nationally known Morsø Iron Foundry.

Included in the experience are:

A guided city walk
- A delicious evening meal (Choose between beer-steamed mussels or beer-braised beef. This is chosen when ordering)
- A glass of wine or ½ liter of local beer / soda
- Personal voucher of 20% on outdoor products from Morsø Jernstøberi's webshop


Practical information:

The city walk starts at 5pm and the themes are as follows:
16 / 6-2021: The city's green area
23 / 6-2021: From square to square
30 / 6-2021: Around Rådhustorvet and the old foundry
18 / 8-2021: The harbor area
25 / 8- 2021: The historic fishing quarter

Meeting place: Rådhustorvet / The statue of Christian IX

Dinner is eaten at around 6.30 - 8.30pm at Restaurant Limfjorden - Nykøbing's oldest restaurant.
You can choose between beer-steamed mussels or beer-braised beef. Dinner includes a glass of wine or ½ liters of local beer / soda.

Minimum number of participants:Max 10 people. For larger groups, contact Museum Mors.
The trip is both pram and wheelchair friendly.
Warm outerwear and shoes for the walk and for the courtyard. Umbrella in case of rain.
In case of bad weather we eat inside.
