Along the coast at Feggesund, the moler cliff rises up to 25 metres as a natural wall against the westerly wind.

Here you'll find one of the most captivating and at the same time most productive fishing spots on Mors, where the landscape both shelters and challenges. Even on days with a strong westerly wind you can stand in the lee and fish in calmer water, while the fjord moves before you.

Beneath your feet you'll encounter a firm, stony seabed where seaweed and eelgrass sway in the water.

Deep water lies close to shore, and it is precisely this combination of depth and structure that creates good conditions for fish throughout the year.

The steep cliffs lie close to the water, which can make fly fishing in particular quite challenging. At the same time, high water means that access to certain stretches can become difficult when the water presses up against the cliff face.

There is parking along Feggesundvej, from where it is approximately 50 to 100 metres to the beach.

Access is across private land, so please be considerate along the way.

Be aware of conditions when wading – both depth and the seabed can vary, and the current can at times be strong.
