Slow down in Østsalling (Cycling tour)

The cycling route is 60 km long.

On the tour to Østsalling you will experience, among other things, the charming village of Lyby, Sundsøre Pakhus, Grinderslev Monastery and Jeppe Aakjær's artist home Jenle.

Østsalling invites you to slow down and take in the views across the fjord.

The cycling tour to Østsalling winds through the small villages north of Skive along the old Salling railway line, before the route ends in Sundsøre.

On the return journey to Skive you pass the beautiful Jenle – Jeppe Aakjær's artist home.

Jeppe Aakjær lived here until his death in 1930. Jenle means lonely, and the farm still lies slightly off the beaten track today, but in a fantastically beautiful setting down by the Limfjord.

The place is today a museum and café.
