Challenge your family to giant chess at Oddesund Harbour

Who is the chess champion of the family? On the terrace in front of Havnehuset, you’ll find a giant chess set where the whole family can compete against each other while enjoying views of the Limfjord.

Challenge the children, grandparents or your travel companion and see who can be the first to checkmate their opponent.

Throughout history, Oddesund has been a place that needed to be defended. During the Second World War, the area played an important defensive role, with bunkers and observation posts positioned along the fjord. Fortunately, today the battle is much more peaceful – now, the only challenge is to defend your king.

Take your place at the board, plan your strategy and let the battle to become Oddesund’s chess champion begin.
