3. The farm Sønderskov - Hiking along Venø’s coastline
In the 18th and 19th century, Sønderskov was one of the six largest farms on Venø. Sønderskov had a dairy, brickwork, and a construction site for smaller vehicles.
In the beginning of the 19th century, the farm was owned by the cultural-radical person, Markus Bjerre. Bjerre was an active debater in Copenhagen’s newspapers. He made this farm a meeting place for cultural-radical personalities, painters, and writhers.
