The Sun Route (danish: "Solruten"), also known as bicycle route 19, is a marked route that runs along the coast of the island. The length of the route is 170 km and is characterized by a blue sign with a bicycle on it, and the sun in the upper right corner.

The cycle route to Nordfjends is a beautiful route that takes you pass the antique shop Dalsgaard Antik, the small brewery Staarup Håndbryg, and the impressive Ørslev Kloster.

The cycling route is approximately 50 kilometers long and passes by many charming village churches in the region. You will also encounter the impressive Spøttrup Castle, which is beautifully located by Spøttrup Lake.
